O.K., folks, here I go, again. I have had all of my new designs rejected to date. I am going to start posting some of them here. Please comment. Please be honest. Well, not to the point of keeping me in tears....gulp. Anyway, here we go.
This is part of a group called Loopy Lillies. I already posted a couple of the designs earlier but I am going to show the "main" design, again, so you can see where I am going with this. I was told that these were too similar to my earlier line.
I have very strong and negative opinions in regard to the majority of designs being released by the major textile houses today. Those I will send to you in an email. For purposes here, I shall state that I am 58 years old with an advanced education in art photography. I am NOT making cutsey little children dresses, cutsey children quilts all in the same color palettes by the same artists for the past several years.

You do all the correct objectives in that you have large prints, small prints, dots and stripes. I LOVE your work. I am clueless as to what THEY want ...
Dianne, you seriously need to investigate the professional opportunities available at Spoonflower. Several major artists have recently begun to have their fabric printed there ... think about it.
From the 4 you have posted so far, I see NO similarities. I can make mincemeat of that argument by going to THEIR page and looking at other lines...

Dianne, I'm not sure what's on the brain of the person rejecting your fabric ideas. I absolutely drool when I see your designs, can't wait to get my hands on some, then am almost as disappointed as you are when they are not part of The Chosen Ones. Too similar? Really???? Have they looked at Westminster for the Kaffes, and the Jane Sassaman lines? Yet those are huge sellers.
